Executive Assistant to the Chief Strategy Officer

Executive Assistant The Lewis & Clark Information Exchange (LACIE) is seeking a highly organized and adaptable Executive Assistant to support the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). This role is based in Jefferson City, Missouri, and offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and contribute to partner-facing work that supports healthcare organizations across Kansas and Missouri. First review of resumes will occur on May 18, 2026. LACIE is a nonprofit health information exchange focused on improving how patient information is shared across the healthcare system. Since 2010, LACIE has provided a secure platform that enables providers, payers, and community organizations to access timely, accurate patient data, which supports better decisions and more coordinated care. The Executive Assistant provides administrative, coordination, and stakeholder support to the CSO and plays a key role in ensuring meetings, communication, and follow-through are well managed. This position works closely with internal teams and external partners and requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment.Key Responsibilities:Manage and maintain the CSO's calendar, including scheduling, prioritization, and coordination across internal teams and external stakeholdersPrepare materials for meetings, including agendas, summaries, and supporting documentsDraft and edit emails, presentations, and other communications for business leadership useCoordinate meetings and follow up on action itemsTrack key priorities, deadlines, and projectsServe as a point of contact for internal team members and external partners, maintaining professionalism and continuity across interactionsSupport ongoing communication and relationship management with partners and stakeholdersCoordinate all aspects of travel, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and itineraries; provide on-call support during travel as neededAccompany the CSO on travel as needed and support real-time logistics, stakeholder engagement, and meeting coordinationPrepare itineraries, briefing materials, and contingency plans, and track travel-related expenses, receipts, and documentation in compliance with organizational policiesMaintain awareness of organizational priorities, partner relationships, and operating rhythms to anticipate needsMaintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound discretion when handling sensitive information; ensure the CSO receives accurate, timely, decision-ready informationRequirements:Preferred Qualifications:Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree preferred in Communications, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field24 years of administrative, coordination, or executive support experience; experience supporting senior leadership preferredExperience in a healthcare, nonprofit, or mission-driven organization preferredTechnical Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams), including experience creating executive-level materialsExperience using collaboration and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams)Professional Skills:Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time, coordinate calendars, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to support and communicate with senior leadershipHigh level of professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgmentAttention to detail and accuracy in drafting and reviewing communicationsAbility to manage changing priorities, solve problems, and adapt in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to contribute and collaborate across the organizationAdditional requirements:Willingness and availability to travel (locally and nationally)This position is based out of Jefferson City, Missouri, and requires regular in-office presence, with flexibility based on business needs.Compensation:The anticipated salary range for this position is $60,000$75,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
