Mainframe & AS400 Developer

Role Descriptions: We are seeking a skilled Mainframe and AS400 Developer to design| develop| maintain| and support enterprise applications running on mainframe and IBM AS400/iSeries platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in COBOL| JCL| DB2| CL| RPG| and related legacy technologies| along with the ability to troubleshoot production issues and support business-critical systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop| enhance| and maintain applications on mainframe and AS400 (preferred) environments.Write and support programs using COBOL| JCL| DB2| CL| RPG| and related tools.Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Perform debugging| testing| and production support for existing systems.Work with batch jobs| file processing| and data integration processes.Collaborate with business analysts| testers| and infrastructure teams.Support system upgrades| performance tuning| and incident resolution.Document technical designs| code changes| and support procedures.Required Skills and ExperienceStrong hands-on experience with mainframe technologies.Proficiency in COBOL| JCL| DB2| and VSAM.Experience with IBM AS400/iSeries technologies preferred.Knowledge of batch processing| job scheduling| and file transfer processes.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in production support and development environments.Good communication and teamwork skills.
