Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Burlington, WI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,218 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/18/2026 About the PositionTravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Burlington, Wisconsin, 53105!Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department Profession: Nursing Specialty: RN Medical Center Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC, NIHSS Must-Have: - Pediatric experience preferred - Triage skills - Assisting with RSI/intubation - Procedural sedation experience - Experience with restraints and blood products - mass transfusion - Familiarity with stroke alerts/criteria - Trauma activations/care experience - Cardiac - STEMI experience Description: This facility is a 123-bed institution. It has a Trauma Level III designation. It does not have a NICU level. It is recognized as a Primary Stroke Center. Emergency patients range from neonates to geriatrics. Chest Pain, Abdominal Pain, Stroke, and Neuro cases are typical. On average, there are 2 psych patients per week. The patient-to-nurse ratio on days is 1:4 and on nights is 1:5. Technician support has a 1:10 ratio. Charge nurses typically manage a full patient load. Phlebotomy assistance is available for blood draws if needed. Respiratory Therapy is available 24/7. Hospitalists are available round the clock. Midlevels are present from 10 AM to 10 PM. Telemonitoring is available at the bedside and nurses' station. The charting system in use is Epic, preferably, along with Alaris and Pyxis. There is no floating requirement for staff. Scheduling includes a weekend rotation every third weekend. Time off may be approved up to 7 days; longer requests need further consideration. There is no on-call requirement. Staff is expected to work holidays every other year.
