Postgre SQL Developer
Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking a fully remote skilled PostgreSQL Developer / Database Engineer with extensive experience designing, developing, optimizing, and supporting enterprise-scale PostgreSQL database solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database architecture, performance tuning, data integration, and cloud-native database platforms.
Must haves:
- 5+ years PostgreSQL experience; enterprise-scale database environments preferred
- Logical and physical data modeling, normalization and denormalization, entity relationship modeling, partitioning strategies, and scalable schema design
- Complex SQL, PL/pgSQL, CTEs, window functions, stored procedures, views, materialized views, and execution plan analysisB-Tree, Hash, GIN, GiST, BRIN indexes, VACUUM optimization, statistics management, memory tuning, and performance troubleshooting
- PostgreSQL Tooling - pgAdmin, psql, pg_dump, pg_restore, monitoring tools, WAL management, migration utilities
- Kafka, CDC, batch and real-time pipelines, integration frameworks, and event-driven architectures

Pay Rate: $50 - $55/hourthis is a 6-month contract to hirefully remote (EST hours)
