Installation Supervisor

Job Summary: The Installation Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing Installation Technicians and the quality installation practices and customer training during installation of services. Supervisory Responsibilities: · This position will oversee Installation Technicians. Duties/Responsibilities: · Assist with daily schedules and daily productivity of the ISP crew. · Properly fill out necessary documentation, record time for the crew, etc. · Communicate with Inside Plant Superintendent providing regular updates on projects. · Assist installation and other teams with customer activation of fiber-optic telecommunication. · Install full video services, including analog, digital and HDTV. · Install and disconnect telephone and internet customers. · Maintain a safe work environment by following safe practices and adhering to safety policies, which includes practicing safe driving techniques. · Install all types of CAT5/CAT6, Coax and fiber optic drop wire and install connectors on CAT5/CAT6, Coax and fiber optic drop wire. · Ability to read and understand installation drawings and blueprints · Rack mount and connect communications equipment · Updated installation drawings for as-built conditions · Troubleshoot video, telephone, and internet problems from any telecommunications demark to customer premise equipment. · Successfully install all ancillary equipment provided to subscribers. · Test and tone all drop wires from equipment room to end user locations. · Performs additional duties as assigned by management. · Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: · Bilingual · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. · Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. · Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Education and Experience: · High school diploma or equivalent required · At least one year of related supervisory experience required. Work Environment: · Must be comfortable working on a ladder and all heights. · Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
