BEPC Inc. is looking for a Processing Operator in Sturgis, MI PAID WEEKLY!!! Shift: 6AM – 6PM Note: This is a W2 only role — C2C, C2H will not be considered Position Overview Seeking a Processing Operator to support the manufacturing of liquid pediatric and medical nutritional products in a GMP-regulated production environment. This role is responsible for operating and monitoring computer-controlled manufacturing equipment, accurately weighing and staging ingredients, documenting production activities, and ensuring all products are manufactured in accordance with established procedures and quality standards. The ideal candidate has previous food manufacturing or batch processing experience, is comfortable working with automated production systems, and demonstrates a strong commitment to safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Key Responsibilities · Operate, monitor, and document computer-controlled blending processes used in the production of liquid nutritional products. · Weigh, stage, and document raw ingredients using computerized weighing systems. · Prepare, operate, monitor, and document Clean-in-Place (CIP) systems used to sanitize manufacturing equipment, including tanks and heat treatment systems. · Operate and monitor computer-controlled heat treatment and bulk slurry manufacturing processes. · Perform production line operations, including standardization, final water additions, and incorporation of ingredients such as flavors, oils, and other raw materials. · Follow detailed batch records, work orders, and standard operating procedures to ensure accurate product manufacturing. · Transport and handle raw materials, bulk ingredients, and CIP chemicals throughout the production process. · Lift and physically handle raw ingredients during weighing, staging, and manufacturing activities. · Maintain accurate production records and manufacturing documentation. · Perform routine cleaning of production equipment and work areas to maintain GMP compliance. · Assist with basic preventative maintenance and equipment inspections. · Support additional production activities and departmental assignments as needed. Required Qualifications · High School Diploma or GED required. · Previous experience in food manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, beverage production, or another batch processing environment preferred. · Basic computer skills and the ability to operate computerized manufacturing systems. · Ability to read, understand, and accurately follow written work instructions and batch records. · Strong written and verbal communication skills. · Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and solve problems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. · Ability to safely lift and handle raw materials throughout the shift. Preferred Qualifications · Vocational or technical training in Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Food Science, or a related field. · Experience operating automated or computer-controlled manufacturing equipment. · Knowledge of Clean-in-Place (CIP) systems and sanitary processing equipment. · Experience with batch processing, blending, or liquid manufacturing operations. · Familiarity with FDA, GMP, HACCP, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
