Assignment Overview Shift: Nights, 4x12hrs Hours: 48 hrs/wk Start Date: Feb 23, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring tele and PALS certification for night shifts. Details Work in the Medical Surgical unit of a short-term acute care hospital Night shift schedule: four 12-hour shifts per week (18:00 - 06:30) Patient ratio is 1:5 Minimum of three weekend shifts required within each six-week period Possible requirement to float to other units as needed Possible on-call requirements Meditech is used for charting; experience preferred but not required Requirements Active IN or Compact RN license required Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg experience required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS are required Telemetry experience required Ambulatory/MS experience preferred Additional Information RNs who call in for a shift will be required to make up the missed shift The unit admits both adult and pediatric patients, necessitating PALS certification First-time travelers are accepted for this position Professional attire is required; any color scrubs are permitted Candidates are considered local if residing within a 50-mile radius Returning employees must not have worked at the facility within the past 12 months without prior consent
