Lead Java Developer

We are looking for an experienced Lead Java Developer with 10–15+ years of software development experience to join our team in New York. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Python, and AWS, along with hands-on experience with LangChain or Sierra framework. Banking/financial services experience is highly preferred. Required Qualifications 10–15+ years of professional software development experience. Strong hands-on experience with Java. Strong experience with Python. Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services. Experience with either LangChain or Sierra framework. Strong knowledge of system design, architecture, and design patterns. Experience developing scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to lead technical discussions and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the banking or financial services domain. Experience with cloud-native application development. Experience working in Agile development environments. Strong communication and technical leadership skills. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable Java-based applications. Develop and maintain solutions using Java, Python, and AWS. Design robust and scalable application architectures based on business and technical requirements. Leverage LangChain or Sierra for AI-enabled application development where applicable. Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams. Troubleshoot complex application and production issues. Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, security, and reliability requirements. Contribute to technical strategy, system design, and continuous improvement initiatives.
