Job Description
Lead the definition, prototyping and development of telematics components
Manage the technical feasibility of telematics components
Lead the technical relationship with Mobile Network Operators
Responsible for the platform architecture, applications architecture and interfaces
Manage the modularity and upgradability of the system
Overview the development of software modules
Manage the test campaigns in multiple continents
Deliver outstanding requirements, system definition, implementation, testing and debugging strategy
Lead a team of engineers, both in-house and at the suppliers to deliver innovative technical solutions within required cost, quality and time targets
Overview of certification process with every region’s regulatory agency (FCC, PTCRB, CE, GCF, CCC, etc) and MNOs
Have a strong focus on reliability and only deliver optimized features
Stay on top of technology innovation in the connectivity field and design future solutions
Qualifications
Masters in Computer Science or equivalent
At least 4 years of experience on connected car and telematics projects
Experience in telematics systems hardware and software architectures
Experience in GNSS, Automotive Wifi, Bluetooth oriented developments
Experience in NB IoT, V2X
Experience in Automotive Ethernet
Strong specifications record
Strong ability to drive results from empirical data
Project and team management skills
Strong motivation for technology oriented products
Ability to work in a multi-cultural and inter-disciplinary team across different time zones
APPRECIATED OTHERS SKILLS
Experience in AGILE, SCRUM
Experience in antennas systems
Experience in cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, OTA SW update services
Vehicle EE architecture and embedded networks
