Position Summary
The Electromechanical Assembler will assemble electrical harnesses and subassemblies using written instructions, drawings, blueprints, schematics, illustrations, and process documentation. The role involves building wire harnesses, performing continuity checks, using various hand and power tools, and following strict quality and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Build electrical wire harnesses according to blueprint specifications.
* Connect and twist wires based on blueprint requirements.
* Perform continuity checks and inspect electrical harnesses.
* Use hand tools, electrical tools, pneumatic tools, and assembly equipment.
* Use wire cutters, pliers, heat guns, and precision measuring equipment.
* Follow written instructions, drawings, schematics, blueprints, and process documentation.
* Maintain required quality and safety standards.
* Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) activities.
* Participate in compliance/inspection activities.
* Maintain a clean and safe work area.
* Lift and carry materials weighing up to *20 lbs.*
* Perform other assigned duties safely.
Required Qualifications
* *U.S. Citizenship required.*
* Experience working from *written instructions, drawings, blueprints, schematics, illustrations, and/or process documentation.*
* Ability to understand and follow detailed *verbal and written instructions.*
* Experience with at least one or more of:
* Hand tools
* Electrical tools
* Pneumatic tools
* Wire cutters
* Pliers
* Heat guns
* Precision measuring equipment
