The role implements and manages the operation and administration of projects in support of JE Dunn's strategy and values. Duties include safety leadership, pre-construction planning, change management, scheduling, cost control, stakeholder coordination, risk management, and project closeout.Key ResponsibilitiesLead safety culture and incident investigations.Manage the JE Dunn pre-start checklist and coordinate pre-construction activities (takeoff, trade coordination, bid development, schedule).Plan and execute buyout schedules, verify pricing, identify successful bidders, and manage subcontracts.Set up the submittal schedule, review and approve shop drawings and samples before submission.Ensure approved submittals are returned to subcontractors and meet project schedules.Coordinate with logistics for material and equipment pricing, and work with risk management on bonding and approval.Disseminate change requests to subcontractors and owners, gather pricing, and obtain approvals.Facilitate meetings (monthly reviews, progress, OAC).Process monthly subcontractor and owner pay applications.Develop and update project schedules with the Superintendent, applying Lean principles.Identify schedule impacts and facilitate mitigation plans.Document project decisions (budget, schedule, legal, quality, safety) and maintain best-practice records.Provide regular reporting and analysis of project status and profitability.Prepare monthly cost and margin forecasts; review budget performance.Lead project close-out, including punch lists, financials, warranties, and warranties.Interface with region/company legal counsel as necessary.Additional ResponsibilitiesUnderstand the estimating process from conceptual through GMP development.Identify, understand and actively manage project risks.Manage business plans to maximize financial success.Utilize internal resources (IPS, logistics, self-perform) for deliverable management.Build external relationships through business and community activities.Maintain strong communication and presentation skills.Apply fundamentals of construction management and Lean principles.Use project management, accounting and construction technology software at an advanced level.Expense management and profitability maximization.Work accurately, completely, and timely.Travel and relocation may be required; non-traditional hours may be necessary.Physical requirements: lift up to 200 lbs, stand, walk, bend, climb, reach above shoulder, push, pull.QualificationsExperience in construction project management, preferably in aviation or related verticals.Strong knowledge of project processes and support functions.Proficiency in MS Office (Intermediate) and scheduling/management software (Advanced).Leadership experience with a career path toward Senior Project Manager.Ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally.Equivalency in experience considered.BenefitsThe benefits package aligned to this position is Professional Non-Union.EEO NOTICESE-VerifyJE Dunn participates in the Electronic Employment Eligibility Verification Program.J-18808-Ljbffr
