Doctor of Medicine | Surgery - Cardiothoracic Location: York, PA Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 7 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Description We are actively seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon for an ongoing locum opportunity in Pennsylvania . This role offers a mix of clinic, surgical procedures, and call coverage , working alongside an experienced team with APP support. This is an excellent opportunity for surgeons looking for consistent monthly coverage (1–2 weeks/month) in a high-acuity hospital setting. Job Responsibilities Perform cardiothoracic surgical procedures (~9 surgeries per week) Provide outpatient clinic care and inpatient rounding Manage urgent hospital cases and consults Participate in TAVR procedures and structural heart clinic collaboration Handle night call and 24-hour call coverage Work closely with APP support and multidisciplinary teams Utilize Epic EMR for documentation Working Hours Clinic Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Night Call: 3:30 PM – 7:00 AM 24-Hour Call: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM Schedule Includes: Clinic coverage on selected weeks (May & June blocks) Night call coverage on assigned dates 24-hour weekend call shifts Coverage need: 1–2 weeks per month Skills Expertise in cardiothoracic surgical procedures Strong decision-making in high-acuity environments Ability to balance clinic, OR, and inpatient responsibilities Effective collaboration with surgical teams and support staff Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery Active Pennsylvania license (or willing to obtain) DEA required Minimum 1 year of experience required Experience with hospital-based surgical care preferred
