About the Role:This application is for a 6-month student role from July - December 2026. Resume review begins in February 2026.Biogen Manufacturing Engineering at the RTP Pharma site supports two sterile filling lines and an Automated Visual Inspection Machine at the Parenteral Facility and a small-scale filling line, Oligonucleotide Synthesis Manufacturing Area, and an Oral Solid Dose Manufacturing Area in Building 35. Manufacturing Engineering helps with design, installation, modification, troubleshooting and qualification of new and existing equipment. Manufacturing Engineering also provides technical support for Manufacturing and other Engineering Departments.What You'll Do:Detailed description of role including but not limited to:Protocol and report creation for validation of equipmentSupport continuous improvement projectsExample projects may include:Job shadowing during equipment troubleshootingEquipment commissioning and qualificationFault tree creation form vendor manualWho You Are:Include the knowledge, skills, and abilities you may be seeking.Fluent in Microsoft Office / SharePoint is a plusAbility to hit deadlines and understand processes from start to finishKnowledge of SolidWorksGreat communication skillsTo participate in the Biogen Internship or Co-op Program, students must meet the following eligibility criteria:Legal authorization to work in the U.S.At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date.Currently enrolled in an accredited community college, college, university or skills program/apprenticeship.Education RequirementsRising Junior or above & enrolled in an Engineering Degree Program:MechanicalChemicalIndustrialJob Level: InternshipAdditional InformationThe base compensation range for this role is: $25.00-$27.00The actual hourly wage offered will consider the candidate's current academic level and degree candidacy, inclusive of Associate, Bachelor's, Master's, JD, MD, PhD and MBA programs.
