Job Title: Construction Operations Coordinator (Projects, Procurement & Pre-Con)Location: Remote (LATAM preferred; open globally for strong candidates)Salary: $3,000 – $4,000 USD/month (based on experience)Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (EST, some flexibility)Type: Independent ContractorAbout the RoleWe’re hiring a Construction Operations Coordinator to keep multiple projects organized, on schedule, and moving forward.This is a high-accountability execution role. You’ll be responsible for tracking procurement, maintaining project timelines, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks across active construction projects.Success in this role means projects stay on track, materials arrive on time, and communication flows smoothly across teams.What You’ll Own (Outcomes)Projects stay organized, updated, and on schedule across multiple workstreamsProcurement workflows (orders, deliveries, vendors) are tracked with zero gapsQuotes, drawings, and documentation are consistently organized and accessibleDeadlines are met through proactive follow-ups and coordinationCommunication between field, vendors, and internal teams is clear and timelyKey ResponsibilitiesTrack and manage procurement workflows (purchase orders, shipments, deliveries)Maintain and update project schedules, timelines, and task tracking systemsCoordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure progressFollow up proactively on deliverables, timelines, and outstanding itemsSupport pre-construction workflows:Review drawings and specificationsRequest, track, and organize vendor quotesOrganize and maintain project documentation (drawings, submittals, files)Prepare meeting notes, reports, and project status updatesAct as a central communication hub across teamsIdentify opportunities to improve workflows using tools and automation (e.g., n8n, AI tools)Must-Have Experience8+ years of experience in project coordination, operations, or administrative roles (full-time, professional experience only)Direct experience in construction, architecture, or engineering environmentsHands-on experience working with construction documentation (drawings, specs, submittals)Proven experience coordinating vendors, suppliers, or subcontractorsStrong organizational skills with high attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyExcellent written and verbal English communication skillsTools & SystemsProject management tools (Monday.com, ClickUp, Notion, or similar)Familiarity with automation tools (n8n, Zapier, etc.) is a plusExposure to AI tools (ChatGPT or similar) is a plusNice-to-HaveExperience supporting pre-construction or procurement workflowsExperience working with US-based teams or clientsBackground in remote work environmentsWhat Success Looks Like (90 Days)You’ve taken ownership of project tracking across active jobsProcurement workflows are organized, visible, and consistently updatedTeams rely on you for accurate status updates and follow-upsYou proactively identify and resolve gaps before they impact timelines
