Senior MSP Engineer / Project Technical Lead

Our success is built on doing things the right way, solid engineering, clear communication, and a team-first culture focused on a Fanatical Customer Experience Delivered by Passionate Humans.We are looking for a Senior MSP Engineer/Project Technical Lead to lead complex client projects, help shape technical standards, and serve as a senior escalation resource when needed.This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who enjoys owning technical outcomes, leading projects end-to-end, and contributing at a high level without being stuck in a day-to-day ticket queue.What You’ll DoProject Leadership & Delivery­Lead complex MSP projects from design through completionOwn technical standards, decisions, and executionIdentify risks early and keep projects moving forwardSales Engineering & SOWs­Partner with Sales and CSMs during solution design and pre-sales discussions­Create clear, accurate Statements of Work (scope, deliverables, timelines)­Validate feasibility, cost, and risk before work is soldSecurity & Risk­Ensure security best practices are followed across all project work­Identify, mitigate, and escalate security risks before they impact clientsEscalation Support & Mentoring­Serve as a senior escalation resource for complex or high impact issue-sHelp unblock stalled work and guide resolution (not routine ticket ownership)Coach and mentor engineers through hands-on- guidance, troubleshooting, and feedbackPromote ownership, accountability, and strong technical standardsTechnology Evaluation­Evaluate and test new tools, platforms, and solutionsDocument findings and recommend adoption or rejectionBalance innovation with stability and risk managementContinuous Learning­Maintain relevant certifications and stay current with emerging technologyApply new skills to improve delivery, security, and internal processesWhat We’re Looking For ­Senior level MSP or IT engineering experienceStrong background in Microsoft environments, infrastructure, cloud, and securityStrong experience supporting and designing solutions in Microsoft 365 environments (Exchange Online, Azure AD / Entra ID, SharePoint, Teams)Proven experience leading projects end-to-endComfortable working with clients, sales, and internal teamsClear communicator with strong ownership and follow throughCompensation & Benefits Salary range: $85,000 – $105,000, based on experiencePTO, health benefits, and certification supportHybrid / remote flexibility depending on role fitWhy Midnight Blue ­Real technical ownership, not just ticketsLeadership that values outcomes, not noiseOpportunity to influence standards, tools, and deliveryA team focused on doing things the right wayNext Steps:Quick apply with your resume hereOrGet a head start on our application and aptitude testing process here: https://www.ondemandassessment.com/link/index/JB1GJOL0MUW?u=1110981
