Job Title: People Services SpecialistLocation: 6 months with possibility of extension Location Remote - ESTAbout the RoleWe are looking for a high-energy HR Operations Specialist to join our People Services team within a fast-growing, high-impact environment. This is a high-volume, execution-focused role ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves quickly, and enjoys solving operational challenges through process improvement and automation.You will act as the frontline support for employees, managing a large volume of requests while ensuring exceptional accuracy, organisation, and responsiveness.Core Responsibilities (Day 1)Manage a high volume of employee tickets via Jira or similar ticketing toolsExecute HR operations tasks in Workday (HRIS)Perform data entry, audits, and reporting using spreadsheetsProvide employee-facing support (internal customer service)Handle repetitive operational tasks with extreme accuracy and attention to detailAs You RampSupport employee onboarding and lifecycle processesAssist with contractor onboarding and offboardingIdentify process gaps and recommend improvementsDrive automation initiatives using AI/tools to improve efficiencyTake ownership of ad hoc projects based on team needsWhat We’re Looking For2–5 years of experience in HR Operations / People Operations / Employee ServicesExperience in startup or high-growth environments (highly preferred)Ability to handle high-volume workload with speed and accuracyStrong attention to detail (non-negotiable)Excellent organisational and communication skillsComfortable working with spreadsheets and large datasetsExperience with process improvement and operational efficiencyInterest in automation, AI tools, and workflow optimisationAbility to work independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environmentsNice to HaveExperience with Workday (HRIS)Familiarity with Greenhouse (ATS)Experience using Jira or ticketing systemsBackground in People Ops / HR Shared Services / HR OperationsWhat Success Looks LikeYou can manage hundreds of requests daily without errorsYou stay organized despite constant communication and shifting prioritiesYou proactively identify ways to improve and automate processesYou collaborate effectively in a fast-moving, highly communicative teamYou bring a problem-solving mindset and operate with urgencyWho Should NOT ApplyCandidates who prefer highly structured environments with rigid processesIndividuals without startup or high-growth experienceProfiles focused only on strategic HR (non-operational roles)
