Tile: Enterprise Architect – Compute and Network :Location: Indianapolis, IN /Milwaukee, WI/ Detroit, MI/Chicago, IL (Onsite)Job SummaryThe Enterprise Architect – Compute and Network is responsible for designing and implementing high-level architecture solutions that align with the organization’s strategic goals. The role focuses on computing, networking, and infrastructure services to ensure scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. The architect will collaborate with stakeholders to define technical standards, guide decision-making, and ensure integration of enterprise systems.Key Responsibilities1. Architecture Design and Strategy:Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework for compute, network, and infrastructure systems.Define technology roadmaps and standards for cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.Align architecture with business objectives and IT strategy.2. Compute and Network Optimization:Design and oversee implementation of scalable compute resources (virtualized environments, servers, and storage systems).Architect robust networking solutions, including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, cloud connectivity, and wireless networks.Enhance system reliability, security, and performance.3. Collaboration and Leadership:Collaborate with technical teams, business units, and vendors to implement solutions.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to IT teams.Act as a key advisor in technology acquisition and vendor selection.4. Technology Governance:Establish and enforce best practices and policies for compute and network systems.Monitor compliance with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements.Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies.5. System Integration and Modernization:Ensure seamless integration of new and existing technologies.Lead modernization efforts for legacy compute and network systems.Support cloud migration initiatives and hybrid architecture adoption.6. Performance and Capacity Management:Analyze current infrastructure to identify performance bottlenecks and scalability challenges.Implement monitoring tools and metrics for ongoing infrastructure optimization.Skills and Certifications:Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Expertise in networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, etc.) and technologies (firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN).Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, Cisco CCIE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar.Experience:10-20 yearsSkills:LAN, WAN, Network, Enterprise Architect, Computer
