About the job Job DescriptionThe Manager Accounting manages professional employees and/or supervisors and is accountable for the performance and results of the accounting group. The role will address resource and operational challenges by appropriately adapting departmental plans and priorities.Job Overview:Functional administrator for Oracle Fusion Cloud application related to finance activities, including subledgers. This role partners closely with accounting, financial reporting, audit, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate financial results, efficient month-end close, and continuous operational improvement. In addition, this role is an integral part of projects, including new implementations and enhancements and special projects.ResponsibilitiesKey Tasks and Responsibilities:Manage finance-related activities within Oracle Fusion, including oversight of subledger operations and issue resolutionCoordinate with finance users to ensure a smooth, timely, and accurate month-end close processLead efforts to document existing finance processes and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Maintain comprehensive documentation and evidence of internal controls performedSupport SOX compliance, including walkthroughs, testing, and remediation activitiesMaintain master financial statements and recurring financial reportsProvide cross-functional support for external financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timelinessAssist with the implementation of consolidation-related process improvements to enhance management and financial reporting capabilitiesCoordinate and facilitate training for accounting team members on systems, policies, and process updatesServe as a trusted finance resource to support operational and reporting needsPartner with finance, accounting, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communicationQualificationsEssential Qualifications and Education:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required, CPA preferredStrong working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financials, including subledgers with minimum 3-5 years of experience.Solid understanding of SOX controls, internal controls, and audit requirementsStrong analytical, organizational, and documentation skillsStrong communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environmentFunctional understanding of consolidation and forecast process is a plusIntermediate to advanced excel skills preferred About UsOur ingenuity fuels daily life.
