Contractor - Senior Designer

COOK SYSTEMS has an IMMEDIATE need for a Senior Designer (hybrid-onsite, three days per week)The Sr. Designer is responsible for leading the concepting, design, and execution of high-impact event creative and collateral systems. This role serves as a senior individual contributor, developing scalable visual themes that extend across multiple event touchpoints while ensuring brand consistency and high production quality.This position requires a balance of conceptual thinking and hands-on execution, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.Key Responsibilities:Concept Development & Design:Lead the development of on-brand creative concepts for events, including visual themes and design systemsTranslate strategic briefs into compelling visual solutions across multiple formats and channelsDesign scalable assets that can be adapted across event touchpoints and campaignsExecution & Production:Create and produce a wide range of event-related deliverables, including: Invitations (print and digital)Event branding and signage systemsPresentation decks (PowerPoint, Keynote)Digital assets (email graphics, web/event visuals)Ensure all deliverables meet brand standards, technical specifications, and production requirementsProject Management & Collaboration:Partner closely with Integrated Marketing, Production, Operations, and other creative team membersManage multiple concurrent projects with varying timelines and complexityIncorporate stakeholder feedback efficiently while maintaining creative integritySpeed & Quality Delivery:Respond effectively to fast-turn and rush projects without sacrificing design qualityPrioritize workload based on business needs and deadlinesEnsure timely delivery of all creative assetsRequired Qualifications:6+ years of professional graphic design experience, ideally in: Event marketingExperiential designAgency or in-house creative environmentsStrong portfolio demonstrating: Conceptual design workScalable visual systemsEvent or campaign-related deliverablesAdvanced proficiency in: Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)Strong presentation design skills (PowerPoint and/or Keynote)Experience designing for both print and digital formatsAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience supporting large-scale corporate events or conferencesFamiliarity with production and print specifications for event materialsExperience working with cross-functional marketing and operations teamsExposure to project management tools (e.g., most would be applicable)Consistent delivery of high-quality, on-brand creative assetsAbility to meet or exceed project deadlines, including rush requestsStrong stakeholder satisfaction and reduced revision cyclesEffective management of multiple concurrent projectsACTION ITEMS: Portfolio link required (must include relevant event or campaign-based design work)#LI-CS1e/o/e
