The Role As a Senior Platform Engineer, youll help design and build the core systems that underpin a modern AI platform. This is a hands-on role focused on scalable backend services, infrastructure, and reliability, working closely with a strong engineering team on technically challenging problems. ?? What Youll Be Doing Design, build, and scale backend services within a distributed architecture Write clean, efficient, and production-ready code Contribute to system design, architecture, and technical decision-making Improve platform reliability, observability, and performance Collaborate across engineering to deliver features end-to-end Participate in code reviews and support live systems when needed ? What Were Looking For 6+ years of backend or platform engineering experience Proven experience building and scaling generative AI applications in production Strong proficiency in Python (plus TypeScript or Java) Experience with a compiled language such as Go or Rust Solid understanding of microservices and API-driven architectures Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, plus infrastructure as code (Terraform) Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and monitoring tools Experience with Docker and Kubernetes Strong communication and problem-solving skills Bachelors degree required (Masters preferred) Able to work hybrid (3 days/week in Palo Alto) ? Nice to Have Experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow) Strong exposure to GCP Familiarity with frontend technologies Experience in regulated or complex domains (e.g. healthcare, fintech) ????
