Aluminum Mig WelderCardinal Staffing is seeking an experienced Aluminum Mig Welder to join our production team in Southgate, MI. This position is responsible for welding and fabricating aluminum components while maintaining high quality and safety standards. Candidates must have previous aluminum welding experience and will complete an on-site weld test prior to hire.Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesPerform Mig welding on aluminum materials and componentsRead and interpret blueprints, measurements, and work instructionsOperate welding equipment and related fabrication tools safelyInspect completed welds to ensure quality and structural integrityGrind, clean, and prepare materials before and after weldingMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all company safety procedures and PPE requirementsWork independently and as part of a production team to meet deadlinesSkills & QualificationsPrevious aluminum Mig welding experience requiredAbility to pass a hands-on welding test prior to hireExperience using hand tools, grinders, and measuring tools preferredAbility to read tape measures and blueprintsStrong attention to detail and quality workmanshipReliable attendance and strong work ethicManufacturing or fabrication shop experience preferredPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods of timeFrequent lifting up to 50 poundsRepetitive bending, lifting, and reaching throughout the shiftAbility to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, and metal materialsAt Cardinal Staffing, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
