The Metal Fabricator is a skilled tradesperson who constructs and assembles structures or components from raw materials, mostly metal, from blueprints and technical drawings using specialized tools. They MIG weld material ensuring products meet strict structural and quality standards. Unlike a welder, who focuses primarily on fusing parts, a Fabricator manages the entire production cycle from interpreting blueprints to the final finishing.QualificationsProficiency in Metalworking techniques, including fabrication, cutting, and assemblyOperational knowledge of Hand Tools and Power Tools for accurate metal shaping, welding, and cuttingExperience with Grinding and finishing to meet specificationsAbility to operate Forklifts for material handlingFamiliarity with safety standards in a manufacturing or fabrication environmentAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings is a must.High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in metal fabrication or a related field is preferredStrong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or within a team
