We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Insurance Defense Paralegal to join our team at our West Palm Beach office.Are you an experienced Insurance Defense Lead Paralegal looking for an opportunity to join a well-established and highly respected law firm? We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive paralegal with 3-5 years of insurance defense experience to support our litigation team.Key Responsibilities:Assist attorneys with all aspects of case management, from inception to trial.Draft and prepare legal documents, discovery requests, subpoenas, and pleadings.Organize and manage large volumes of documents, including medical records, deposition transcripts, and trial exhibits.Coordinate and schedule hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.Assist in trial preparation, including preparing trial binders, witness lists, and exhibit files.Conduct legal research and summarize depositions, expert reports, and medical records.Manage expert witnesses, including scheduling, document preparation, and communication.Handle electronic court filings (E-Filing) in both state and federal courts.Track billable time and ensure compliance with law firm billing practices.Work independently while effectively prioritizing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentQualifications:Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal in an insurance defense law firm.Strong knowledge of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and E-Filing procedures.Experience handling trial preparation and litigation support.Ability to summarize legal records and bills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and case management software.Experience with Litify or Clio is a plus.Paralegal certification or a degree in paralegal studies is strongly preferred.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.Why Join Us?Competitive salary & benefits package (health insurance, 401k, paid time off, etc.)Collaborative and professional work environment with opportunities for growthHands-on experience with high-exposure cases and trial workIf you are a motivated Insurance Defense Paralegal with 3-5 years of experience and are looking for a firm that values your skills and expertise, we encourage you to apply today!
