This remote position within the US offers an exciting opportunity to design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). As a key member of our technical team, you will collaborate closely with engineers and stakeholders to ensure the deployment of reliable, secure, and efficient cloud environments. Your expertise will be vital in automating deployment processes, optimizing Kubernetes clusters, and streamlining CI/CD workflows to support our innovative AI data platform. Proficiency in Kubernetes administration and orchestration is essential, alongside a solid grasp of DevOps methodologies, tools, and practices. Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, as well as familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager, is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to effectively convey complex technical concepts. Preferred qualifications include GCP certifications like the Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional DevOps Engineer, along with experience working in hybrid or multi-cloud environments. Knowledge of security standards and compliance relevant to cloud-native architectures is also advantageous.ResponsibilitiesYour primary responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on GCP that meet the needs of our AI data platform. You will automate deployment, monitoring, and management processes using industry-leading DevOps practices to enhance efficiency and reliability. Administering and optimizing Kubernetes clusters to ensure maximum performance and availability will be a key focus. Collaborating with development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and improve workflows is vital for continuous integration and delivery. Ensuring the security and compliance of cloud environments by applying best practices will be an ongoing task. Additionally, you will proactively identify infrastructure bottlenecks and resolve incidents promptly to minimize downtime. Documentation of solutions and processes with clarity and thoroughness will support team knowledge sharing and facilitate ongoing improvements.Benefitsmicro1 offers a competitive compensation package with a base salary ranging from $200,000 to $300,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
