Job descriptionSourcing Specialist, Infrastructure & IndirectLocation: Palo Alto, CA (on-site)About 1XWe build humanoid robots that work alongside people to solve labor shortages and create abundance.Role OverviewWe are seeking a Sourcing Specialist to support sourcing execution across infrastructure and indirect categories at 1X.This role focuses on RFQ support, supplier coordination, contract execution, and data tracking, enabling the infrastructure sourcing team to scale efficiently as the company grows.This role is part of a team-based infrastructure sourcing organization. Commodity scope will be assigned based on experience and business needs. Candidates are not expected to have experience across all listed categories—exposure to one or more relevant areas is sufficient.You WillSupport RFQs, supplier onboarding, and contract execution across assigned categoriesCoordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support sourcing activitiesMaintain sourcing documentation, pricing, contracts, and supplier recordsTrack spend, savings, and supplier performance metricsSupport infrastructure programs, site operations, and scaling initiativesAssist Global Supply Managers and Supply Chain Leads with sourcing executionInfrastructure & Indirect Categories Supported (one or more areas):Facilities maintenance and site servicesConstruction and infrastructure servicesCAPEX equipment and installation supportIT infrastructure and technology servicesFactory production support (tooling, MRO, consumables)Corporate services (travel, HR-related services)Category scope will be assigned based on experience and may evolve as the organization scales.Job requirementsMust Have2+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, operations, or related rolesExposure to indirect, services-based, or infrastructure-related categoriesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teamsComfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environmentsNice to HaveExperience in manufacturing, facilities, IT, or construction environmentsFamiliarity with ERP systems or procurement toolsBenefits & CompensationSalary Range: $71,000 – $105,000 + EquityHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysEqual Opportunity Employer1X is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
