Superintendent

About The RoleWe are adding a Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations with a strong focus on self-perform work. This role is hands-on and centered around managing crews performing process piping, setting process equipment, and placing concrete. You will be responsible for keeping work moving safely, on schedule, and in line with project plans. This is a key field leadership role where you’ll work closely with project managers and crews to solve problems, drive production, and deliver quality work.Minimum Qualifications5+ years of experience in heavy civil, industrial, mechanical, or water/wastewater construction Strong understanding of jobsite safety and OSHA standards Experience leading crews and managing daily field operations Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications Preferred QualificationsPrevious work with a Self-Perform General Contractor Experience with water or wastewater treatment plant construction Background in self-perform work, including:Process piping Setting mechanical equipment Concrete work Experience working on complex mechanical or infrastructure projects ResponsibilitiesLead daily field operations and direct self-perform crewsCoordinate work involving piping, equipment setting, and concrete placementMaintain short-term schedules and drive daily production goalsEnsure all work is completed safely and in accordance with plans and specificationsIdentify and resolve field issues quickly to avoid delaysWork closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams to keep work alignedTrack manpower, materials, and jobsite progressMaintain daily reports and jobsite documentation SkillsStrong leadership in the field and ability to manage crews effectively Hands-on understanding of self-perform construction work Ability to keep projects moving and solve problems in real time Clear communication with field teams and project staff Knowledge of water/wastewater or mechanical construction processesAbout CompanyAmerican Contracting & Environmental Services (ACE) is a self-perform general contractor specializing in complex mechanical construction at water and wastewater treatment facilities.
