Temporary Family Advocate

Temporary Family Advocate-Iddings Elementary Anticipated August 2026 -Mid January 2027 School year position RESPONSIBILITIES ? Support Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment and Attendance (ERSEA) and record-keeping compliance. ? Provide case management, parent education and crisis intervention to support self-sufficiency for all Pre-K families. ? Coordinate parent events related to program goals and governance. ? Coordinate parent meetings and events. ? Provide social services, as required by the Federal Performance Standards, to children and families, including those with disabilities. ? Acts as liaison and support between parents, classroom/school staff, community agencies and other staff. ? Daily contact with clients (children and families) and program staff to ensure quality program implementation. ? Oversee all documentation and recordkeeping for compliance, including but not limited to: ERSEA-recruitment/waitlist, intake, registration, attendance campaign. Parent Engagement - meetings, events, education, communications. PROMIS database - initial entry, maintenance, weekly updates (health, nutrition, family service, in kind, attendance) Child and Family files - ERSEA/Family Services; Health/Nutrition Monitoring/Record-keeping binders QUALIFICATIONS ? A credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling or related field. ? Two years of related experience in administrative duties, data entry, client/customer service preferred. ? Required to have access to reliable transportation in order to complete activities such as recruitment, intakes, community events, field trips and transition activities.
