Social Media Strategist

We’re #hiring.X.O Continental is looking for a Social Media Strategist to lead social media strategy and client management across multiple brands. You will own the creative direction, content strategy, reporting insights, and client communication. Your job is to ensure the strategy is strong, the creative direction is clear, and the client experience is excellent.ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Creative DirectionBuild monthly social media strategies aligned to client goals (awareness, leads, traffic)Client ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for assigned clientsRun client check-ins (weekly/bi-weekly/monthly depending on account)Manage approvals, feedback, and expectations with professionalism and clarityIdentify upsell opportunities and additional needs (as appropriate)Reporting & PerformanceDeliver monthly performance reports with insights (what worked, what didn’t, what we’re changing)Track KPIs and turn data into clear next steps and recommendationsMonitor competitor activity and share strategic takeawaysCollaboration & WorkflowWork closely with our execution team (social media manager/coordinator, designer, video support)Maintain organized systems for briefs, approvals, deadlines, and asset handoffCommunicate priorities early to avoid last-minute rushesDevelop campaign concepts, content pillars, and creative themesCreate content calendars and detailed briefs for the execution team (hooks, angles, captions direction, shot lists where needed)Ensure brand voice consistency and platform-appropriate content direction (IG/TikTok/Facebook/LinkedIn as needed)Review content before publishing to maintain quality and alignmentQualifications2-4+ years in social media strategy and/or client-facing account management (agency experience preferred)Tools (Nice to Have)Meta Business SuiteBasic familiarity with Canva/creative tools (for feedback/review, not heavy design work)Strong understanding of major social platforms and content best practicesExcellent communication skills (client-facing, written, and verbal)Strong creative judgment and ability to generate content ideas that align with business goalsComfortable with reporting, insights, and presenting recommendationsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-drivenX.O.
