The Recruiting Coordinator reports to the Director of Human Resources This position is responsible for researching, developing, and implementing effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. This position will support day-to-day Human Resources department demands and select projects.SUMMARY OF DUTIESThe Recruiting Coordinator provides direct support to the HR Recruiter by coordinating daily recruiting activities, managing candidate flow/communication, and managing staffing agencies communication. REPORTS TO / SUPERVISESReports To: Human Resources Director, Corporate HR RecruiterSupervises: N/A RESPONSIBILITIESProvides administrative and operational support to the HR Recruiter.Coordinates and schedules interviews between candidates and hiring managers across multiple locations.Acts as liaison between the HR Recruiter, staffing agencies, and candidates to ensure smooth communication and follow-up.Tracks and manages candidate submissions from staffing agencies, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.Maintains organized logs of candidate activity, interview status, and hiring progress.Assists with job postings and ensures roles are accurately maintained in the applicant tracking system.Coordinates pre-employment requirements such as background checks, drug screenings, and onboarding documentation.Follows up with staffing agencies on missing or incomplete onboarding documentation.Maintains weekly recruiting trackers and supports reporting (e.g., submissions, hires, time-to-fill).Assists in organizing recruiting events, college job fairs, and workforce outreach efforts.Assists with special projects and process improvements within the recruiting function.EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGEThe following education, experience and knowledge are preferred for this position:Minimum of three years of administrative, recruiting, or coordination experience.Strong organizational skills (managing spreadsheets, calendars, and follow-ups)Excellent communication skillsAbility to manage high-volume, fast-paced hiring environments.Detail-oriented with strong follow-through.Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders (recruiter, agencies, hiring managers).Proficient Knowledge of MS Office software.Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.Relevant industry experience or bilingual ability a plus WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDSWorking conditions are normal for an office environment. Frequently sitting and operating a computer.Some travel between different company locations. Spitzer offers competitive pay depending on education, certifications, and experience.Work Schedule The HR Recruiter will work Monday - Friday 7:30 AM-4:30 PM. Spitzer currently runs two shifts, Monday through Friday with overtime on weekend work as needed. Late afternoon/evening/weekend hours may be required as needed.
