Seasonal Tax Proofing & E-filing - 2026 Tax Season

Xel Advisors is a National firm providing accounting and tax services to small to medium-sized businesses. As we gear up for the 2026 tax season, we’re looking for an individual to join our Eugene office. The candidate will be reviewing individual and small business tax returns and electronically filing the completed returns. Responsibilities and Duties: - Proofing tax returns to make sure all information is current and accurate - Electronically filing the finished tax returns Required Qualifications and Skills - Prior experience proofing individual tax returns (1+ year preferred) - Familiarity with professional tax software (Lacerte) *not required but preferred* - Tax preparer license (LTP/LTC) - Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management Schedule & Compensation - Employment Period: February 1, 2026 – October 15, 2026 -$21.00 an hour - Schedule: As needed. Evenings and weekends optional - Location: On-site at our Eugene, Oregon office Job Type: Seasonal Pay: $21.00 per hour Work Location: In person
