Role: Mechanical Engineer (EIT or PE)Location: Plano, TX - Fully On-Site **(LOCALs preferred)Type: Direct hire (Full time)Salary: 100K – 110K /Annum (DOE)if they have their PE 120K - 135K / AnnumLooking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer who does not need any training or ramp up time on actual engineering work. 5-7 yrs exp with a PE would be ideal.Required skills:• B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field• Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (F.E.) examination• Certified by the State of Texas as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT)•Exceptional attention to detail• Ability to manage multiple projects under strict deadlines• Ability to work well on a team• Exceptional written and verbal skillsPreferred Skills and Knowledge:• Knowledge of and experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite• Knowledge of building codes• Previous experience in a MEP consulting environment• Previous experience designing MEP systems for schools• Experience in the design of HVAC systems, temperature controls, central plant design, and indoor air quality, as well as other mechanical systems for commercial buildings
