Training Delivery Specialist IV

OverviewEmployment in this role is conditional upon successful execution of the contract by the client.The WorkThe Training Delivery Specialist IV coordinates and monitors the delivery of client training activities as well as provides instruction in subject matter areas.This position aligns with Cayuse’s core values of Innovation, Excellence, Collaboration, Adaptability, and Integrity by fostering technical solutions that meet customer needs, promoting teamwork, and prioritizing quality in deliverables.ResponsibilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesCoordinates all operational and administrative delivery aspects of his/her training activitiesCoordinates instructor staff and facilities for training activities, monitors and helps to evaluate performance, and coordinates evaluations with the Program ManagerProvides orientation, preparation, and administrative and logistical supportArticulates tasks supporting training delivery and provides guidance on how to perform themWorks with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to draft reports on training delivery, highlight deficiencies, and make updates to training plans, course materials, and instructional methods in accordance with DSTC standard operating procedures and Federal Law Enforcement Training Accreditation (FLETA) standardsLiaises with appropriate offices to support the procurement of equipment and services and budget formulation for training activitiesMaintains course metrics, statistics, and associated materials for organizational reports and submits reports and records in a timely mannerEvaluates the impact of planned or projected changes in programs and associated training requirementsServes as a subject matter expert (SME) and instructor in one or more of the specialized subject matter areas covered in DSTC trainingIdentifies new training opportunities within the scope of DSTC goalsOperates U.S. government vehicles as necessary in the performance of assigned tasksOther duties as assigned.QualificationsQualifications – Here’s What You NeedThe qualifications and skills listed below are intended to provide a general overview of the requirements for this position. Candidates should demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to adapt to evolving responsibilities as outlined by the client.A bachelor’s degree together with nine(9) years’ experience in administrative or program management in a federal agency or an organization providing security and/or law enforcement services or trainingMinimum seven (7) years of instructor experience, plus three (3) years of experience in DSTC subject matter areas of instructionTwo (2) years as a Training Delivery Specialist III or equivalent experienceKnowledge of adult learning principles, course development, classroom and practical instructional presentation methods and methods for evaluating training effectiveness Advanced knowledge of and experience with administrative and/or program management functionsCompletion of a recognized instructor development training course preferredMust hold a valid driver’s license and be willing and able to drive official US Government vehicles up to and including 16 passenger vansSecret Clearnce is required.Due to the nature of work at the client’s site, U.S. Citizenship is required.Must be able to pass a background check.
