We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technical Product Manager to join our team. Note: Applicants must be U.S. based, able to work on US East Coast business time, and eligible to work in the U.S.Key Responsibilities:The Technical Product Manager owns client engagements end-to-end — from framing the business problem, through designing the technical architecture, to ensuring that measurable results are delivered. You'll lead discovery, make architectural decisions, guide engineering teams, write and review code, and serve as the single accountable point of contact between Orases clients and the teams building their software.This is a hybrid role by design. Some weeks lean heavier on client strategy, others on technical delivery — but you never fully leave either world. understand, keep reading.Roles and responsibilities:Discovery & Problem FramingLead structured discovery to validate problem-solution fit, defining measurable success criteria with clients before committing to a solution directionAssess existing systems, identify integration points, and surface architectural risks early enough to inform scope and budget decisionsTranslate client business problems into technical problem statements that engineering teams can act onIdentify and articulate the business value at stake in each engagement — quantifying the cost of the problem, the value of the solution, and the ROI that justifies the investment — to ensure Orases and the client are aligned on what success is worth, not just what it looks likeSolution Design & ArchitectureArchitect custom software solutions that balance technical quality with real-world constraints around budget, timeline, and existing client systemsProduce solution designs, architecture diagrams, data models, and technical specifications clear enough for engineers to build from with confidenceEvaluate and recommend technology stacks, frameworks, and third-party services appropriate to each engagementDefine non-functional requirements — performance, security, scalability, maintainability — and ensure they're validated, not just documented.Design and implement AI-augmented solutions where appropriate, including LLM integrations, automation pipelines, and intelligent processing workflowsDelivery & Technical LeadershipStay hands-on through delivery: review code, resolve technical blockers, make real-time design decisions, and ensure the implemented solution aligns with the intended architectureOrchestrate across design, engineering, QA, and client stakeholders to maintain alignment and keep delivery focused on the highest-value outcomesDevelop accurate scope definitions and estimates that account for delivery model, complexity, and riskDrive continuous improvement in delivery practices through structured retrospectives and pattern recognition across engagementsClient Relationship & Strategic PartnershipBuild trusted advisor relationships that position Orases as a long-term strategic partner — not a vendor who takes ordersCommunicate with clarity and adaptability across audiences, from C-suite sponsors to senior engineersManage expectations proactively, translating technical realities into business language and vice versaProactively surface opportunities where Orases can deliver additional business value, translating technical capability into client-relevant outcomes that expand the relationshipPre-Sales & Business DevelopmentSupport business development with architectural feasibility assessments, proof-of-concept development, and credible estimationCreate preliminary designs, roadmaps, and high-level estimates that clearly communicate value and set realistic expectationsGuide prospective clients in understanding what AI and modern technology can do for their specific situationTeam & Practice DevelopmentMentor and elevate Orases team members by establishing patterns, conducting architecture reviews, and modeling high-quality technical decision-makingTranslate emerging technology trends into practical recommendations for both client solutions and internal capabilityRequirements:7+ years of experience in software development, with meaningful time spent in both technical and client-facing capacities — whether that's a developer who grew into client leadership or a PM who never lost their technical edgeDemonstrated ability to design and deliver full-stack custom software solutions — architecture that ships, not just diagramsDeep proficiency in at least one modern technology stack with working knowledge across multiple (e.g., PHP/Laravel, Node.js/TypeScript, .NET, Python, React, relational and document databases, cloud platforms)Proven track record of leading profitable engagements from discovery through launch with minimal supervisionAbility to evaluate technical approaches, assess architectural tradeoffs, and hold credible conversations with senior engineersExceptional communication skills with the range to present to executives and whiteboard with developers in the same afternoonStrong analytical thinking with a bias toward structured problem framing over gut instinctExperience in a client-facing consulting or services environment where solutions must balance technical ideals with real-world constraintsPreferredDemonstrated ability to incorporate AI tools into delivery workflows and/or client solutionsExperience with multiple delivery models (T&M, fixed-price, managed services) and the strategic implications of eachTrack record of defining and tracking measurable business outcomes — not
