A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:RN - Cath LabJob Details:• Work 3x12 hour shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week• On-call requirement for evenings and weekends• Must have proficiency with Balloon pump, Impella, Atherectomy devices, cardiac medication drips, and emergency medications• STEMI experience required• Minimum 18 months RN experience required, 2 years preferred• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross ACLS and BLS• Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs• Skills required include interventional radiology, angioplasty, carotid stenting, upper and lower extremity angiography, interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, pressure ulcer assessment/prevention, sheath removal/monitoring, vascular closure systems, radiation and laser safety, Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale• Must be nicotine-free and pass negative 10 panel + nicotine drug screen within 12 months of start• EKG and pharmacy test required during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each• Time-sensitive modules must be completed pre-start (6-15 hours, non-billable)• Compliance documents due Monday prior to start date• All requested time off must be submitted at time of applicationFacility:This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory providing advanced interventional cardiology services.
