Apply with us today andtake your plumbingcareer to the next level!DESCRIPTION OF WORK An employee in this position performs maintenance, inspections, repairs, replacement, and installation work on plumbing and piping systems, components and fixtures for air, gas, oil, water, steam, irrigation, waste disposal, and other related systems within DGS owned or managed facilities. Work is performed independently and may include assisting a higher-level trades person or supervisor with more complex assignments. In addition, work also includes mitigating and responding to facility emergencies during normal business hours and after-hours.In this role, it is essential to adhere to department safety protocols, ensure lower-level trades personnel adhere to department safety protocols and identify any safety concerns to supervisor. The employee also participates in the performance of other trades' tasks, including lower-level trades' tasks, consistent with operational and organizational requirements. This position requires the employee to operate motor vehicle or other self-propelled equipment when requested.Interested in learning more?
