Machinist/ Water Jet Operator1st Shift, Monday - FridaySummary of Essential Job Functions for a Machinist:Perform light fabrication, making jigs, fixtures, and special lots of production componentsProgram and operate the water jet, loading and unloading material and parts, operating controls, setting offsets, deburring and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements. Studies and interprets drawings, manuals, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished products, sequence of operations and set up requirements.Perform all duties according to company standards and safety procedures and maintain acceptable attendance record Minimun Requirements needed to apply for the Machinist position:Formal machinist training requiredMinimum of two years' experience in operating manual milling machines, lathes and drill pressesMust be a self-starter capable of working with general instruction and minimal supervisionAbility to stand for extended periods of timeAbility to work individually or as part of a teamMinimum of one year's machining experience in a manufacturing environmentAble to work overtime, as required Benefits offered to the Machinist following a successful 90-day probationary period:Ability to participate in the Emco Wheaton Retail Benefit Plan (including medical, dental, vision)Ability to participate in the Emco Wheaton Retail 401(k) PlanPaid vacation
