We take pride in fostering a culture where employees feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.What You'll DoProgram, set up, and operate CNC mills, lathes, multi-axis machines, grinders, EDM, and manual equipment to optimize performance and minimize downtimeRead and apply engineering drawings, blueprints, and advanced GD&TPerform complex offsets, tool compensation, and program adjustments to maintain tight tolerancesManufacture precision components to tolerances of .0001" or better with minimal supervisionTroubleshoot machining, tooling, and material issues and implement corrective actionsRecommend and execute process, tooling, and programming improvementsPartner with Tool Design to develop fixtures, jigs, and custom toolingConduct in-process and final inspections using precision measurement equipmentShare knowledge and best practices to support team developmentAdhere to safety, quality, and 5S workplace standardsRequired QualificationsAA/AS degree or equivalent technical training with 8+ years of relevant machining experienceAdvanced expertise in CNC and manual machining and programmingStrong working knowledge of GD&T and precision measurementAbility to work independently and resolve complex technical problemsHigh mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Preferred QualificationsAerospace or defense manufacturing experienceMachining certifications or advanced technical educationTool and die or specialized machining backgroundExperience with continuous improvement methodologiesStrong communication and mentoring skillsThe actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.Note: Due to the nature of the work, only US Persons (citizens or permanent residents) need apply for this position.ALTEN Technology is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
