Senior Full Stack Developer
Position OverviewIntePros is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer for an exciting contract-to-hire opportunity with one of our premier clients.We are looking for a true full stack engineer who is equally comfortable contributing to frontend and backend development. The ideal candidate has experience developing modern, secure, data-driven applications and can clearly communicate technical decisions and problem-solving approaches.This team is also incorporating AI-assisted development tools into its engineering workflow. Candidates should be comfortable coding independently as well as utilizing AI coding tools to improve development efficiency while maintaining high standards for quality, security, and maintainability.Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack applications across frontend and backend environments.Develop modern frontend applications using React and Next.js.Build backend services and APIs using Python and Flask.Develop and optimize SQL queries and work with relational databases, including PostgreSQL.Design and maintain database tables, schemas, relationships, and related data structures.Support data-driven applications and workflows utilizing Databricks.Implement application-security controls to protect applications and data.Build, containerize, and support applications using Docker and established CI/CD practices.Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, software developers, and other technical stakeholders.Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.Utilize AI coding tools as an engineering partner while independently validating generated solutions.Clearly communicate technical approaches, engineering decisions, and problem-solving strategies.Technical QualificationsCandidates should demonstrate strong hands-on experience across three or more of the following areas:FrontendReactNext.jsBackendPythonFlaskRESTful API developmentData & DatabasesDatabricksSQLPostgreSQLDatabase table design and managementApplication SecurityExperience implementing security countermeasures to protect applications and dataUnderstanding of secure application-development practicesKnowledge of common application-security risks and appropriate mitigation strategiesDevOpsCI/CDDockerModern source-control and software-delivery practicesAI-Assisted Development Comfortable utilizing AI coding tools as part of the software-development processAbility to effectively incorporate AI assistance into development workflowsAbility to independently review and validate AI-generated codeStrong engineering judgment when determining when and how AI tools should be utilizedIdeal CandidateStrong full stack development experience across both frontend and backend technologiesDemonstrated strength across multiple areas of the required technology stackStrong SQL and relational database knowledgeExperience with modern DevOps and CI/CD practicesUnderstanding of application security and secure coding practicesComfortable working with AI-assisted development toolsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsSelf-directed and effective in a remote engineering environmentProfessional and reliable remote-work setupInterested in a long-term contract-to-hire opportunityPrevious experience working within the medical device, MedTech, healthcare technology, or other regulated industry environment is a plus.Additional RequirementsMust be based within the Eastern or Central U.S. time zonesReliable internet connectivity and professional remote-work environmentGitHub profile, personal project portfolio, or other examples of hands-on development work strongly preferred
