(PSI)Plumbing System Inc. is an established company with over 30 years of experience providing top-tier service and quality products in many areas around the Vail Valley and Summit County area.About This RoleAs an HVAC Lead Installer at Plumbing Systems Inc. (PSI), you'll be the hands-on leader of your installation team. After receiving instructions from our Installation Manager, you'll coordinate, guide, and work alongside your team to deliver high-quality installations. You'll handle a broad range of HVAC and refrigeration equipment while ensuring every job meets PSI's high standards for safety, quality, and customer service.What You'll DoSpend approximately 80% of your time installing heat pump mini splits and conventional AC unitsInstall, maintain, and repair residential and commercial heating, ventilation, and cooling systemsDiagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of HVAC equipmentMaintain inventory, parts, tools, and ensure proper use of safety equipmentMentor and train apprentices, sharing your knowledge and expertise on the jobDiagnose service issues, order replacement parts, and calibrate systems per manufacturer specificationsDeliver excellent customer service by clearly communicating technical, scheduling, and maintenance informationPerform all work honestly, diligently, and in alignment with PSI's core valuesWork on impressive, world-class homes and projectsWe'd Love to Hear From You If You Have:3+ years of hands-on installation experience and a desire to grow in your careerStrong communication skills and an ability to explain maintenance needs to customers in clear termsComfort with technology, including tablets and work-related softwareExperience preparing quotes for repairs and replacement installationsProven track record installing, replacing, and servicing HVAC systems in residential and commercial settingsWorking Conditions & Physical DemandsSafety is our top priority; general knowledge of OSHA requirements and safe work practices is expectedRegularly required to stand, walk, stoop, climb ladders, and work in crawl spacesAbility to work in both hot and cold environments throughout the yearMust be able to lift and move 50+ lbs on a regular basisStandard schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–5:00 pmThe pay for this position is $28-$45/hour or more depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location, plus performance based incentives.
