The hiring manager is looking for someone who is self-motivated, an excellent problem-solver, a team-player, responsible, and able to manage their time effectively.At Securian Financial, the internal title for this position is Infrastructure Consultant.Position SummaryAs a ServiceNow Software Developer, you will be responsible for defining and implementing technology solutions on the ServiceNow platform that meet Securian business objectives, in alignment with the overall information technology strategies for the enterprise. You will be accountable for designing, developing and deploying applications on the ServiceNow platform. You will collaborate across diverse teams from business and technology. You will handle multiple development projects at once which will require forward thinking and ability to design complex solutions. You will conduct research to determine trends that impact the ServiceNow technology platform and provide thought leadership to the ServiceNow platform and process owners.Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:Assess and understand customer needs and requirements, creatively approach solutions, decide, and influence appropriate courses of action.Develop on ServiceNow platform using native programming languages and system configurations with minimal direction or oversight.Build high-quality, sustainable, and reusable solutions in compliance with Securian Financial standards and best practice.Research, recommend, design, implement and support ServiceNow platform services including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, ITBM, Workflows, Performance Analytics, and CMDB ensuring overall integrity of the ServiceNow platform is maintained.Design, develop and deploy integrations with ServiceNow including 3rd party solutions and internally developed applications.Analyze, troubleshoot and fix identified ServiceNow system issues.Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.Qualifications:Three to five years of experience supporting the implementation, administration, configuration and/or development with the ServiceNow technology platform.Certified ServiceNow Administrator (CSA) or Certified ServiceNow Application Developer (CAD)Experience with ServiceNow reports, dashboards, and Performance Analytics.Broad technical experience that includes integrations and infrastructure build and support.Experience and understanding of web technologies, SaaS solutions and developmentExperience developing application integrations.
