Senior Accounts Payable Analyst – SAP S/4HANA📍 Houston, TX | Hybrid after training 💼 Contract (W2) | High likelihood of extension or permanent hire 💲 $30–$36/hour 🚀 Immediate interviews & quick startWe’re partnering with a Houston-based organization that is actively seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Analyst with SAP S/4HANA experience. This is not an invoice-entry role — it’s a senior, analytical AP position focused on resolving complex discrepancies, supporting month-end close, and partnering cross-functionally with Procurement and Supply Chain.Training will be onsite, then the role transitions to a hybrid schedule.What You’ll Be DoingReview and resolve purchase order invoice discrepancies (price, quantity, and receiving issues)Ensure accurate invoice descriptions and supporting documentationPrepare and manage monthly accruals, including Freight and T&EPerform vendor statement reconciliations and AP account reconciliationsSupport month-end close through AP reconciliations and journal entriesTrack and report AP KPIs and metrics on a monthly and quarterly basisValidate proper GL distribution, vendor setup, and PO dataAnalyze and clear aged GR/IR and received-not-vouchered balancesProcess and audit employee travel and expense reportsSupport ERP initiatives, including new implementations or system enhancementsProvide functional leadership and guidance to AP team membersPrepare and analyze GR/IR reportingAssist with internal controls, audit support, and remediation effortsPartner closely with Procurement and Supply Chain to improve AP workflow and accuracyWhat We’re Looking For5+ years of progressive Accounts Payable / AP Accounting experienceSAP S/4HANA (required) — hands-on, operational experienceStrong understanding of PO-based invoicing, 3-way match, and GR/IRExperience with accruals, reconciliations, and close processesAbility to independently resolve complex invoice and vendor issuesStrong communicator with a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindsetWhy This OpportunityCompetitive pay: $30–$36/hourLong-term contract with real conversion potentialHigh-impact role with visibility across Finance and OperationsHybrid work model after onboardingFast-moving interview process➡️ If you’re a senior-level AP professional with SAP S/4HANA experience and availability to start quickly, apply or message me directly to discuss.
