Reagent Management Services (RMS) Technician, Lab Services What this job involves: The Reagent Management Services (RMS) Technician, Lab Services supports chemistry operations by managing procurement, receiving, inventory, and material transfers between sites with minimal supervision. This role involves liaising with BMS Lab Managers, EHS contacts, and lab staff while maintaining safety compliance and a clean work environment.What your day-to-day will look like:Fulfill internal/external chemical requests from customers Execute receiving, sourcing, and weighing requests, including chemical subdivision and library collections Maintain stockroom inventories according to customer-determined thresholds Coordinate inter-site and intra-site material shipments Communicate with supervisor and lab management regarding supply stock, material needs, and software upgrades Assist with chemical stockroom, laboratory supply stockroom, and site inventories Comply with safety regulations and maintain compliance documentation Maintain a safe and clean working environment in the laboratory and office Adhere to JLL and client policies and procedures Assist in other lab services operations as needed Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PMDesired or preferred experience and technical skills:Experience with RIO, Arriba, or similar procurement and inventory management systems Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Required Skills and Experience:Bachelor's degree in chemistry or biochemistry 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a laboratory setting Knowledge and experience with chemical management, handling, and storage Demonstrated understanding of units of measurement and reading measuring devices Proficiency in computer programs and data entry with high attention to detail Knowledge of MS Office suite Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively with management and employees at all levels Clear communication skills with colleagues and customers Ability to prioritize, manage, and organize time effectively Team player committed to customer service in a quality environment Capable of performing job functions with minimal supervision
