Customers fly across the country and know our staff by name, you are becoming apart of the brand.The Events Manager will be responsible for managing all incoming event inquiries, nurturing client relationships, and selling our event packages and products to corporate and private clients across the U.S. This role requires excellent communication, organization, and sales skills — with the ability to represent the Rancher Hat Bar brand professionally and enthusiastically.This is a highly sales-focused role. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, lead generation, relationship building, and closing deals. Success in this position will be measured by event bookings, revenue generated, client retention, and the ability to consistently bring in new business opportunities.You’ll collaborate daily with our existing Events Manager, working as a team to ensure every inquiry receives a same-day response and that each event runs smoothly from first contact to final execution.Key ResponsibilitiesRespond promptly (same-day) to all new event inquiries via email and phoneSchedule and conduct both virtual and in-person meetings with clientsSell event packages and products to nationwide companies and organizationsGenerate new business through outbound sales efforts, networking, referrals, and prospectingActively source and develop new corporate, retail, hospitality, wedding, and private event opportunitiesBuild and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leadsConduct follow-up calls and emails to convert inquiries into booked eventsMeet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goalsDevelop relationships with event planners, venues, marketing agencies, corporate partners, and community organizationsUpsell event enhancements, premium experiences, and additional productsPrepare proposals, pricing sheets, contracts, and follow-up communicationsManage balance sheets and spreadsheetsMaintain accurate and organized event and client records using Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Calendar, Drive)Collaborate with the current Events Manager to ensure consistent communication and seamless event planningTrack leads, sales, conversion rates, and performance metrics in spreadsheets and CRM toolsOutreach and bring your own leads inAssist in planning logistics for corporate, retail, and promotional eventsRepresent the Rancher Hat Bar brand with professionalism, enthusiasm, and attention to detailAttend networking events, trade shows, and community events to generate leads and increase brand awarenessAssist in warehouse operations and pack event bags and supplies as neededHandle all invoicing/spreadsheets with accounts receivable and work closely with accountantMaintain strong client relationships before, during, and after events to encourage repeat business and referralsQualificationsSales experience is highly preferred and is a critical component of this roleProven experience in sales, business development, event sales, account management, or event coordination preferredStrong ability to build relationships, generate leads, and close salesComfortable making outbound sales calls and conducting client meetingsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience using Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Drive)Highly organized with exceptional follow-up and multitasking abilitiesComfortable with both client-facing sales and administrative dutiesTeam player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environmentConfident, friendly, and customer-service focused personalitySelf-motivated with a results-driven mindsetAbility to work independently while achieving sales goals and deadlinesCompensation & ScheduleFull-time, salaried position with commission opportunitiesMonday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PMOccasional travel or weekend hours may be required for special events
