Overview The Payroll Administrator supports the organization by executing accurate, compliant, and timely weekly payroll for union and non-union employees across multiple entities. This role ensures payroll accuracy, union CBA compliance, prevailing wage compliance, and certified payroll reporting while maintaining strong internal controls. Responsibilities Process weekly payroll for union and non-union employees Ensure accurate classifications, rates, and job coding Review payroll for accuracy prior to submission Maintain union wage rates and fringe benefits Implement union rate changes and adjustments Prepare and submit required union reports Prepare certified payroll reports Ensure proper wage and fringe reporting Maintain documentation for audits Ensure accurate payroll tax calculations Support payroll tax filings and reconciliations Assist with year-end W-2 processes Qualifications 3–5 years of payroll administration experience, preferrable in-house Experience with union and certified payroll High attention to detail and confidentiality Proficiency with payroll systems and Microsoft 365 applications Experience processing payroll for multiple entities Construction or heavy highway payroll experience preferred Knowledge of construction payroll software, preferably Foundation Job Type: Full-time Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Health savings account Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Work Location: In person
