EPSD9 is committed to inclusive education, professional excellence,and a vibrant learning culture that prepares every student for success.About the RoleThe Special Education Teacher for the MAPS Program at Table Rock Elementary will design and deliver specially tailored instruction for studentswith diverse needs, ensuring access to rigorous, supportive, and meaningful learning experiences. This educator will serve as akey member of the Student Services Team, supporting students through individualized instruction and collaboration with families and staff.This role includes planning and delivering instruction, monitoring student progress, maintaining all compliance records, and managingIndividualized Education Programs (IEPs). The teacher will participate in multidisciplinary teams, lead IEP meetings, consult withgeneral education staff, support educational assistants, and provide family outreach. Additionally, the teacher willimplement strategies aligned with best practices in special education while promotingstudent engagement, safety, and academic growth.The position demands a commitment to professional collaboration and leadership. It also requires familiarity with state and federal lawsregarding special education and the ability to use appropriate methodologies and technology tosupport students in their learning.Who We're Looking ForWe seek a highly collaborative and compassionate educator with a current Oregon Teaching Licensewith a Special Education endorsement.
