This position is responsible to lead and support a project construction team and oversee the management of assigned project direction, planning, completion, and financial outcome. The Project Manager is responsible for directing and mentoring on-site staff. The position requires business management acumen and must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and time management skills, as well as have strong communication and team building skills. This list is not all inclusive and is meant to highlight responsibilities:RESPONSIBILITIESManage and/or coordinate personnel and resources for the projectAssist with preconstruction effortsManage all aspects of project from inception thru completionPrepare and execute company development and construction planPrepare trade contracts and bid packages, as well as oversee procurement processOversee the shop drawing, submittal, and construction coordination processOversee performance of project including, project status, schedule, cost control, change management systemsMaintain relationships designers, consultants, vendors, and subcontractorsAttend and lead project meetings, including progress, pre-construction, and pre-awardImpeccable attention to detailed documentation protocolsReview inspection and test data for compliance with specificationsDevelop and maintain site logistics plan, in coordination with internal teamsOversee all site safety and compliance programs QUALIFICATIONSRequires Engineering, Construction Management, or related bachelor’s degree, OR possess at least 5 years equivalent years of related experienceExperience with Aviation or Healthcare projects a plusStrong project management skills to include scheduling, budgeting and resource coordinationExpertise in quality control and quality assurance practices within the industryFamiliarity with safety regulations and compliance standardsAbility to determine the priority of assignments based on critical deadlinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills essential both within the internal project team and externally with subcontractors, and key stakeholdersAbility to meet deadlines and work in a structured corporate environmentIs self-motivated and can work independently with minimal supervision. Also requires high degree of ethics and integrityExcellent time management skills, ability to react and shift priorities simultaneously to meet deadlinesProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, along with experience using Autodesk or similar project management platforms
