Spanish Teacher, Part-Time

Pioneer Valley Regional School seeks a Part-Time (.4) Spanish Teacher. Our Spanish program is growing rapidly, with student enrollment increasing significantly for next year. This is an exciting opportunity to join a developing and expanding program. We are looking for a teacher who: Builds strong relationships with students Creates engaging and inclusive classroom environments Uses a variety of instructional strategies to support language acquisition Is interested in helping to grow and shape the Spanish program Works collaboratively with colleagues About our school With 240+ students in Grades 7-12, PVRS is a small, rural school in Western Massachusetts with a close-knit community and a commitment to academic excellence. The school values innovative instruction, collaborative problem-solving, and student-centered learning. Teachers have the ability to build strong relationships with students and work closely with colleagues across disciplines. Our school's impressive array of arts, athletics, and academic programming belies its small size. We have a campus with 95 acres, the larges of any public school district in the state, which features hiking and mountain biking trails, an ecology pond, and a federally-certified vernal pool. The anticipated salary range for this position may be found in the salary grid for the Pioneer Valley Regional Education Association.
