AssemblerJob SummaryWe are looking for an Assembler to join our team in Sweetwater, Texas! Assembler Hand assembles various components in manufacturing. Training is provided.Duties / ResponsibilitiesAssembles machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment and other manufactured products according to directionsRead blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then build to those specificationsUse various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasksMaintains logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistenciesMaintains equipment and conveyors and performs basic repairs when neededInventories tools, parts, or supplies; contact materials handler if supplies are neededPeriodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts supervisorPerforms other related duties as assignedRequired Skills / AbilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as necessary to complete logs or recordsAbility to read blueprints and schematicsDetail-oriented and consistentWorks well as a productive member of a teamAbility to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipmentAbility to follow instructionsBasic ability in mathematics, reading or writingEducation / ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPhysical RequirementsProlonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasksMust be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a timeMust have manual dexterity in order to assemble products as directedMust have excellent hand-eye coordinationAbility to differentiate between colored wires, tabs and electronic componentsYou must wear glove, ear and eye protection as necessaryCompensation / BenefitsSalary is dependent upon experienceHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife Insurance401(k) Retirement PlanCafeteria PlanPaid Time OffLMI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
