Ludlum Measurements is seeking an Assembler to join our team in Sweetwater, Texas!  This position assembles various components in manufacturing. Training is provided. To be successful in this role you will need to be a self-motivated individual with keen attention to detail along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, opportunities for professional growth, and a supportive, collaborative work environment.Job Type: Full-Time, In-PersonJob Duties & Responsibilities:Assembles machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment and other manufactured products according to directionsRead blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then build to those specificationsUse various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasksMaintains logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistenciesMaintains equipment and conveyors and performs basic repairs when neededInventories tools, parts, or supplies; contact materials handler if supplies are neededPeriodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts supervisorPerforms other related duties as assignedRequired Skills & QualificationsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as necessary to complete logs or recordsAbility to read blueprints and schematicsDetail-oriented and consistentWorks well as a productive member of a teamAbility to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipmentAbility to follow instructionsBasic ability in mathematics, reading or writingHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPhysical RequirementsProlonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasksMust be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a timeMust have manual dexterity in order to assemble products as directedMust have excellent hand-eye coordinationAbility to differentiate between colored wires, tabs and electronic componentsYou must wear glove, ear and eye protection as necessaryCompensation / BenefitsSalary is dependent upon experienceHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife Insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysFlexible Spending AccountOpportunities for professional growth and developmentAbout Ludlum MeasurementsLudlum Measurements, Inc. designs and manufactures radiation detection instruments used in environmental, industrial, and governmental applications around the world.
