Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives.Labcorp is seeking an IT Project Manager II to join our team in a hybrid role in Burlington or Durham, North Carolina.Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours.Job ResponsibilitiesCoordinating and managing Reverse Reference EDI Projects as well as LIS interface tasksDeveloping and maintaining project plans, identifying and securing resources for implementationMonitoring project milestones and resources, ensuring timely delivery and escalating issues when necessaryCoordinating activities and ensuring effective communication with project stakeholders Tracking project schedules, reporting on progress, and taking corrective action as neededManaging, prioritizing, and escalating all tasks associated with complex Health System/Client interface project implementationsSupporting efforts to improve project implementation turnaround timeServing as Subject Matter Expert for an assigned vendorMaintaining high-quality project documentation in Solutions Business Manager (SBM) workflow softwareMinimum QualificationsAssociates degree OR 3 or more years of experience in project managementPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree5 or more years of experience working within a Healthcare IT environmentPMP certificationAdditional Job StandardsDemonstrated project management skills and abilities, with ability to lead multi-disciplined and cross-functional teamsAbility to motivate others to apply critical thinking skills and techniques, facilitate group interactions, and mediate conflict as neededSolid understanding of business needs, with ability to establish and maintain customer trust and confidenceStrong verbal and written communication skills; ability to present and explain technical information clearly to diverse audiencesEffective teamwork and people skills with all employee levelsStrong organizational, time management, and prioritization skillsSkilled in managing customer expectations and delivering consistent resultsAbility to perform root-cause analysis and support problem resolutionPrevious experience implementing LIS Applications within an enterprise environmentDirect project management experience in all phases of interface implementation – Workflow, Connectivity, Build, Test, Validation, Post Live SupportWorking knowledge of risk management skills to include identification, escalation, and facilitation of mitigation/creative solutionsProven ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive project successProficient in Microsoft Office tools: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Copilot, and OneNoteIf you're looking for a career that offers opportunities for growth, continual development, professional challenge and the chance to make a real difference, apply today!BenefitsEmployees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
